PVI AM performs business duty in 2016
21/05/2016On January 5th 2016, PVI Asset Management Joint Stock Company (PVI AM) held Conference on Summary of business activities in 2015 and Deployment of Task of 2016 and Conference of Labor Force. The Company has finished 2015 with remarkable achievements after one-year operation.
It is an honor to have the attendance and direction of Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors of PVI Joint Stock Co., Mr. Bui Van Thuan, Deputy Party Committee Secretary and General Director of PVI as well as leaders of Standing Party Committee, the Management Board, the Board of Directors as well as leaders in other functional departments of PVI.
The representatives of PVI AM consist of Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Minh, a cell secretary and chairman of PVI AM’s Board of Directors, Mr. Tran Tung Linh, vice cell secretary and General Director, Mr. Luu Thanh Ha, corporate Union president along with all members in cell committee, the Board of Directors, the Management Board, the Executive Board of Union, Youth Union and key cadres and workers from the company.
For all workers at PVI AM, the year of 2015 is actually the challenging year. Although it is a newly-established company, it has gradually overcome difficulties, approached and even exceeded the goals for 2015 thanks to enormous efforts and great determination of the whole staff in the company as well as detailed guidance of executive committee.
In 2015, PVI AM safely and effectively received, operated and managed an asset of over 8,500 billion VND of PVI and member units. Additionally, it oversaw and solved any problems arising from its operating process. It also provided the strategic partner, HDI-Gerling with securities and investment services. Specially, in the realm of office for lease, PVI Building was awarded “Vietnam best office development in 2015” at the Asia-Pacific Property Award 2015-2016 held in the framework of Asia-Pacific Property Conference in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and 90.54% of its space occupied by PVI and clients, creating high revenue.
Relating to asset management, this company established PVI Opportunity Investment Fund (POF) with the contributed capital of 440 billion VND in October 2015. Currently, it is completing procedures to receive a total of 1,000 billion VND in the near future. In addition, PVI AM actively enhanced the management in business, party committee and employees. It focused on investments through POF and consultancy of asset restructuring for members in PVI system. It also offered some objectives and solutions to implement tasks in 2016.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, chairman of PVI’s Board of Directors and Mr. Bui Van Thuan, the company’s General Director, praised and highly appreciated positive results in 2015 which is the significant contribution to general target of PVI. For sharing difficulties of PVI AM, they noted that, in the context of economic fluctuations, this company must take great efforts and have flexibility, creativity, appropriate solutions in order to raise efficiency, ensure business safety, minimize risks, and boost value of the whole PVI system. Especially, it should build trust and credibility with clients by clear and obvious management system, operating ability, professional and diligent staffs.
On this occasion, PVI AM gave PVI AM and PVI AM Investment Fund the “Excellent Working Collective” Award. Besides, “grassroots-level emulation fighters” was given to two individuals while emulation titles were given to other advanced individuals.
At the same time, the Conference of Labor Force 2016 also welcomed the presence of Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Minh, a cell secretary and PVI AM’s chairman of Board of Directors, Mr. Tran Tung Linh, vice cell secretary and General Director, who is representatives of Employers. Participants have been announced reports about the implementation of regulations and rules related to workers at PVI AM by Mr. Luu Thanh Ha. Thus, in 2016, PVI AM continues developing its internal forces in order to have comprehensive innovation in organizational structure, business strategy, risk management policy, personnel policy etc. and finally, the positive results in all fields. The conference approved working regulations, principles to host Conference of Labor Force and collective labor agreements, etc.
